Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a service with Viking Solutions LLC, visiting our website, or engaging with us in any capacity, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Viking Solutions LLC regarding your use of our services and supersede any prior agreements.

2. Services Provided

Viking Solutions LLC provides residential technology services in the North Metro corridor of Minnesota, including:

All services are performed on-site at the client's residential property within our service area. We do not provide remote-only services as a primary offering.

3. Service Area

We operate exclusively in the North Metro corridor of Minnesota, including Forest Lake, Chisago City, Linwood, and surrounding communities.

Bookings made outside our service area may be cancelled and refunded at our discretion. If you are unsure whether your location falls within our service area, please contact us before booking.

4. Booking & Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled through our Calendly booking system. By completing a booking, you are reserving a specific time slot for on-site service at your property.

• A booking confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide via Calendly.
• Please ensure someone 18 years of age or older is present at the property for the duration of the service appointment.
• We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances and will provide as much advance notice as possible.

5. Payment Terms

We accept payment via Venmo and PayPal. All prices are in U.S. dollars.

• Scouting Raid ($99): Payment is due at the time of service upon completion of the audit.
• The Longship ($945): A 50% deposit may be required to secure the appointment. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the installation.
• Add-On Services: Payment terms will be outlined in the individual project quote provided prior to service.
• Flat-Fee Guarantee: All quoted prices are flat-fee unless otherwise specified in writing. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges.

Failure to complete payment may result in suspension of ongoing services and may be subject to collection procedures permitted under Minnesota law.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Cancellations 24+ hours before appointment: Full refund of any deposit paid, no questions asked.
• Cancellations less than 24 hours before appointment: Deposits are non-refundable. We will make every reasonable effort to reschedule at no additional charge.
• No-shows: If no one is present at the property at the scheduled time, the appointment is considered a no-show. Deposits are non-refundable.
• Our cancellations: If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will provide notice as soon as possible and any deposits paid will be fully refunded or applied to the rescheduled appointment at your preference.

7. Client Responsibilities

To allow us to perform services effectively, you agree to:

• Ensure a responsible adult (18+) is present at the property during the service appointment
• Provide reasonable access to all areas of the property relevant to the service being performed
• Provide accurate information about your home's existing technology setup to the best of your knowledge
• Ensure that you have the legal right and authority to authorize modifications to the devices and accounts in your home

Viking Solutions LLC is not responsible for delays or inability to complete services caused by lack of access, inaccurate information, or failure to meet these requirements.

8. 30-Day Workmanship Warranty

This warranty does not cover:

• Issues caused by changes made to the system after our service visit
• Third-party hardware or software failures unrelated to our installation
• ISP service interruptions or changes to your internet plan
• New devices introduced to the network after our visit

9. Limitation of Liability

Viking Solutions LLC performs all services with professional care and skill. However, to the fullest extent permitted by Minnesota law, we are not liable for:

• Pre-existing issues with your home's technology infrastructure discovered during service
• Data loss, device malfunction, or service interruption resulting from factors outside our control including ISP outages, manufacturer defects, or pre-existing hardware failure
• Issues arising from changes made to your system by you or a third party after our service visit

We carry general liability insurance appropriate for residential service work in the State of Minnesota. Details are available upon request.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Viking Solutions LLC website — including text, graphics, logos, service names, and the Viking Manual — is the property of Viking Solutions LLC and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without express written permission.

The Viking Manual delivered to clients is for personal use at their property only and may not be reproduced or distributed commercially.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Minnesota.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

We will not apply changed terms retroactively to services already booked and paid for at the time of the change.
